10/7/09Entium Technology Partners, LLC, Has Expanded International Regulatory Research Program

Valley Forge, PA - Entium Technology Partners, LLC, has expanded its international regulatory research program to include not only research on retention-related issues but also on privacy, transborder data flow, and electronic records admissibility issues. These areas are of particular interest to multinationsl companies who are moving toward an electronic workplace and centralizing information repositories, outsourcing such functions as HR and finance to third-party contractors, and who are moving electronic records and data between countries whose laws may contradict each other.

Tom Bowen, Entium's President and CEO, stated, "Many of our multinational clients are moving to an electronic workplace and are facing different types of issues. The new compliance and legal issues must be addressed as new media are used to manage records throughout their lifecycle. We are responding to the increasing demands for information regarding privacy, legal admissibility of electronic records, requirements to maintain records in their country of origin, etc. This research service complements our existing services in the development of international retention schedules. With our many years of experience in developing classification schemes and retention schedules for United States- and Canadian-based companies, it is a natural transition for Entium to move into regulatory research, which will help our current and future clients deal with new legal and compliance requirements they face in managing electronic records across multiple locations."
